President - Esther McAlpin
Esther McAlpin is a retired teacher. She has lived in the Beaverton, Tigard area for about 45 years. She is currently involved in AAUW (American Association of University Women), Friends of Beaverton Creek and SOLV (Ambassador Program). She participates in various volunteer programs with the City of Beaverton. She has degrees from Mount Hood Community College, Portland State University and George Fox University. Esther lives with her also retired husband Jim and they have one grown son who lives in Montana. |

Vincent Degoc was Circuit Court Judge Pro Tem (8 years); District Court Judge Pro Tem (10 years); Circuit Court Reference Judge (17 years); Washington County Arbitrator (20 years); Attorney-at-Law (30 years); College Business Law Instructor; Bankruptcy Court Law Clerk; Laborer (College). He graduated from the Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College, JD; University of Notre Dame, BA. He has worked at a Bankruptcy Court Trustee, Metropolitan Human Relations Commission, and VISTA Attorney. |

David Robinson - First Vice President
David graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering. In 1998, while assigned as the assistant for public works at the Navy’s postgraduate school in Monterey, CA, he coordinated the Navy’s support for the National Ocean Conference convened by President Bill Clinton and chaired by Vice President Al Gore. After graduating from OSU, David was assigned to the home of Navy diving in Panama City, Florida. While there he led the planning and execution of numerous important construction and research projects and earned his qualifications as a Navy diving officer. David led the Navy’s Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation consultations with numerous Native American tribes, successfully concluding agreements to ensure that remains were returned to their native grounds. In addition to earning his Masters degree from OSU, David attended Willamette University Atkinson Graduate School of Business. David is married to Sandy Webb, an attorney and local business owner. They are active in numerous charities, non-profits and local politics. David and Sandy live in Aloha with their two chocolate Labrador Retrievers. |

Secretary - Phil Nelson
Phil Nelson, a retired attorney, is an owner of and artist for Memory Garden Benches which fabricates and sells custom designed powder coated steel benches and sculpture. He and his wife, Lynn, moved to Beaverton in 2003. Phil practiced law in Grants Pass, Oregon, for 35 years, where his community activities included being a co-founder of Rogue Community College, founder of the Grants Pass Community Sculpture Association, and membership on the Regional Advisory Board of Southern Oregon University and the boards of directors of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Southern Oregon Estate Planning Council and the Grants Pass Rotary Club. Phil is a member of the sculpture Selection Committee of the Beaverton Arts Commission and of the Urban/Rural Task Force of the Oregon State Bar. He is a graduate of Stanford University and University of California Hastings College of Law. |

Treasurer - Ted Calouri
Ted Calouri has extensive experience with public, private, and non-profit boards of directors. He was a member of the Beaverton School Board and currently serves on the Board of the Beaverton Rotary Club, the Board for the Tolovana Inn Homeowners, and the Claremont Greens Board. In addition to his volunteer Board service, Ted was a State Legislator for twelve years and is also a veteran businessman. He owned and operated Beaverton Learning Academy and currently owns and manages a property management business. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker. Ted holds B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Oregon. He and has a wife, Sherre, have six children, and fourteen grandchildren. |

John Hutzler - Director 2013
John Hutzler is the auditor for Washington County. John has extensive experience in government auditing with Multnomah County, Washington County, the City of Portland, and the state of Oregon. During his time at the Oregon Department of Education, he oversaw changes to the method of distribution of funds from the state down to school districts, and helped recover $1 million in funds that had been embezzled, turning them back to the schools. In his work at the City of Portland, ODOT, Kaiser Permanente, Oregon Department of Human Services, and Multnomah and Washington Counties, he implemented programs to improve efficiency and quality control. He also has experience coordinating with federal agencies and interpreting regulations, and ensuring compliance with said regulations. His county work has allowed him to work with a wide range of agencies, ranging from aid to young mothers, to road construction, to criminal justice. |

Sig Unander - Director 2014
A fourth-generation Oregonian, Sig Unander grew up in a family dedicated to the ideals of public involvement and community service. After college, he worked in broadcast and print journalism in New Mexico, Minnesota, Georgia and Oregon. He also worked on political campaigns, held a staff position in the Oregon legislature, served as Assistant to the Director of the first annual Rose Festival Airshow and was Director of Corporate Communications for a Portland aerospace firm. He left the latter position to found Air Art Northwest, a business specializing in the publication of historical fine art, research, writing and consulting. Mr. Unander served as an elected City Councilor in Cornelius and on several appointed governmental boards in Washington County, including the Community Corrections Advisory Board and the Transportation Advisory Board. He has also served on the board of directors of several nonprofit organizations, including Centro Cultural and the Simon Benson Fund. He was in the first graduating classes of Leadership Greater Hillsboro and the Washington County Sheriff's Department Citizen's Police Academy. A fluent Spanish speaker, he holds a B.A. in Political Science from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon and is currently serving on its Alumni Council and University Council. He also holds a postbaccalaureate degree in Latin American Studies from Portland State University. |

Jon McWilliams lives in Cedar Hills, has lived in Beaverton for nearly forty years, and has been a Member of the Forum for two years. He was a teacher in the Beaverton School District for twenty four years and a bus operator with TriMet for ten years.

Webmaster
Gary Olson retired from State government to pursue his interests in computer programming, web design, and developing creative new ways to use the internet. He has created a variety of web sites, including the one for the forum. He is currently actively involved in expanding the internet exposure of the forum through streaming audio, streaming video, audio podcasting, and video podcasting. It is Gary's goal to create the broadest possible audience for forum programming. |

Greeter - 2010 - Chris Leslie
Chris has two business degrees, an A.A. from Merrit College, Oakland California and a B.A. from San Francisco State. He received an Honorable Discharge from the USNR and has worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies. At times, he believes his my real job is to "question everyone and every thing". Besides the WCPAF, he is a member of Videomasters, a video club of Toastmaster International, as well as a few other non-profit organizations. Otherewise he spends his time trying to watch my grass (legal) grow. |
