The washington County Public Affairs Forum provides a venue for political campaign speeches, ballot measure debates, along with insightful political analysis of political issues effecting Washington County Oregon.

Following the political campaign season the forum presents speakers who discuss Washington County business, government, non-profits, or trends impacting the region.

The forum meets over lunch every Monday at the Beaverton Elks Club (3500 SW 104th Avenue Beaverton, Oregon 97005-1941) from September through June.

Forum programs are open to the public and everyone with an interest in the politics of Washington County is encouraged to attend.    Reservations are NOT required, there is NO admission fee, and the only cost is for lunch.

At first glance the lunch may seem a bit spendy, but keep in mind proceeds from the lunch pay for the room.   That is why there is no admission fee.

Though you are encouraged to watch videos, of our programs it is not the same as seeing them in person.    Our membership is a fascinating cross section of the politically involved in Washington County.    It is worth coming just to see who you might meet.

If you decide to become a member it will only cost you a paltry $40.00 per year.    Membership includes the priviledge of asking speakers questions while they are on the air.    This can be one of the more entertaining aspects of our programs and many consider it worth the price of membership.

If the forum seems like something that would interest you by all means drop by.    We are eager for you to have an opportunity to enjoy our programs and we will do everything we can to make you feel welcome.
